ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

proGres in Partnership, the latest version of proGres  (proGres v4), is UNHCR¿s corporate web-based online registration, case management and assistance tracking system. It incorporates the functionalities of earlier versions of proGres, and includes a range of new functionalities and features. It is a system which enables UNHCR to grant access to partners (including host Governments), ensuring a common platform for collaboration. It seamlessly integrates with other corporate tools such as BIMS (UNHCR¿s Biometric Identity Management System), the GDT (UNHCR¿s Global Distribution Tool), and UNHCR¿s Data Warehouse.

proGres V4 supports operational functions ranging from Registration to different case management functions such as Child Protection, SGBV, General and Legal Protection as well as RSD and resettlement, as well as a variety of assistance management functions. It also aims to integrate key organisational priority functions such as cash based interventions and targeting methods.

proGres V4 will facilitate more efficient use of data collected by UNHCR and partners on persons of concern and relevant case and beneficiary management as well as protection and assistance data. proGres v4 adheres to the standards set in UNHCR¿s data protection policy.  This will bring improved data management and greatly facilitate a wider and more efficient use of the data collected while fully protecting data confidentiality.
