1) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- BA in Social Work/ Gender Studies/ Social Science with minimum 3 years work experience OR
- MA in Social Work/ Gender Studies/ Social Science with minimum 1 year work experience
- Knowledge of gender, masculinities, human rights and the development sector
- Work experience in the development sector/ community-based organisation/ designing and implementing training programs, facilitation experience
- Preferably Male trainers

2) JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Research, formulate and support to develop training modules, curricula and seminars;
- Organize and conduct training workshops and sessions with participants (focussed on men and boys, but also includes girls and community members) under Kickstart Equality and Mardon Wali Baat program in communities and schools across rural and urban geographies;
- Design and conduct Training of Trainers on curriculum across states to scale up and expand CEQUIN’s footprint;
- Support designing and executing baseline, end line and evaluation questionnaires
- Liaise, collaborate, and consult with all project partners, stakeholders and beneficiaries, arrange and attend meetings, producing reports/minutes of meetings as necessary;
- Systematically collect and maintain relevant data/information as required for documentation purposes; including reports, MIS and other documentation required;
- Prepare project and donor reports as per guidelines;
- Support the Programme Manager in planning, implementing, and managing CEQUIN’s programmes across various locations, including various field activities;
- Represent CEQUIN at developmental forums and liaise with varied stakeholders to leverage CEQUIN programs;
- Maintain a database of NGOs working with men and boys on gender related issues, tracking best practises and creating networks;
- Mentor cadres of community volunteers (primarily boys and young men) to support and take forward work on gender equity.

3) COMPETENCIES AND VALUES:

- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English
- Excellent writing skills in Hindi and English for documentation purposes
- Good documentation skills
- Familiarity with the development sector
- Strong understanding of gender issues, especially masculinity
- Ability to design and execute trainings and sessions - design and facilitation skills
- Experience of working in community development programs , field experience
- Experience of working with men and boys in programs
- Competency in usage of computers, office software packages, social media, data management and MIS
