Senior Dialogue Facilitator (m/f) for the Programme Dialogue, Mediation & Peace Support Structures

 

Main tasks:

In coordination with the Programme Director

  • Conceptualise and facilitate training workshops for different conflict stakeholders in political negotiations, peace mediation and conflict transformation
  • Conceptualise and implement dialogue workshops
  • Take over oversight functions and provide guidance to project managers
  • Liaise with donors and raise additional funds for specific tailor-made trainings & projects


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of training abilities in political negotiation, dialogue and mediation. A minimum experience of 5 years is mandatory
  • Track record of professional involvement in the negotiation/mediation field on track 1-1.5 level
  • Strong facilitation & communication skills
  • Experience of working with non-state armed groups
  • Master's degree in relevant field, such as peace and conflict studies, international relations, law or political science
  • Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Spanish and French are desirable
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Curiosity, passion, flexibility and perseverance

 

 

The full time position (40 hours/week) will be based in Berlin, Germany for a period of 24 months (extendable), starting as soon as possible.
