Scope of Work
Position the jurisdiction • Strengthening partnerships and relations between the Qatari Red Crescent and the government on the one hand and with the international and local organizations on the other.
Operational responsibilities 1) strengthening partnerships and relations with the government side (the Ministry of Planning, the Ministry of Health)
2) strengthening partnerships and relations with the International Federation and the International Committee of the Red Cross
3) strengthening partnerships and relations with the Yemeni Red Crescent and other partners
4) strengthening partnerships and relations with international and local organizations.
5) develop plans to strengthen relations with donors and donors inside and outside Qatar.
6) the preparation and marketing of the project proposals with donors and international organizations
7) attend meetings of the relevant sectors (health, water, shelter, protection of children)
8) doing arrangements for visitors and travelers to Yemen or abroad.
9) the reception and farewell guests with the necessary arrangements for their stay.
Subordinates • management representation of the leadership of the Qatari Red Crescent in front of subordinates and to ensure their understanding of the mechanisms of the Qatari Red Crescent.
• ensure compliance systems and operations performance management.
• Monitoring and teach subordinates to develop their skills and their ongoing management.
Internal relations • Chairman of the Qatari Red Crescent mission Yemen.
• Software section.
Foreign Relations • Yemeni government
• Strategic Partners.
• United Nations bodies.
• International Federation of Red Crescent and the International Red Cross.
• Local institutions
3 Job Requirements
Qualifications and experience • a university degree -evdil get a graduate degree in the field of prudent action.
• Experience of not less than 7 years in the field of partnerships and public relations.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English language
Personal skills • Leadership and responsibility.
• Effective communication skills
• negotiation skills
• much decision-making.
• Time management skills.
• Excellent proficiency in Arabic and English language.
• teamwork and delegate tasks.
• A good deal with the computer programs.
