We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who can fit the position of Cash distribution Assistant in Akkar. 
 
Who are we? 
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. 
DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

About the job
Distribution of Liban post card and keep a data on all receipts and contracts in a safe and confidential way. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
• Organize and conduct assessment household visits to verify and evaluate the socio-economical situation and protection profile of selected beneficiaries. 
• Ensure accurate data collection, follow up and referral of the most vulnerable refugees. 
• Ensure the verification schedule, data collection targets, and reporting deadlines are adhered to; 
• Provide regular verbal feedback on field observations and verification findings to the cash Officer. 
• To provide weekly reports to the cash officer, including accurate figures of distributions done and challenges encountered, in the agreed format 
• Ensure proper planning and preparation of HHs visits for distribution of Liban Post cards, per area of intervention and ensuring best use of cars and assets  
• Inform sector managers about distributions plans (date, location, individuals) 
• Distribution of Liban Post Cards on the field on a weekly basis, with the support of cash assistant to the selected beneficiaries. 
• Provide clear briefings to cash recipients on the field about the Liban Post process and the hotline  
• Ensure compliance of the Code of Conduct and CASH SOP . 
• Ensure proper and safe filing of all cash distribution related documents (receipts, pictures, field tracking tools, LP loading forms (hard signed copies and scanned copies) 
 
About you 
 
To be successful in this role you must have: 
• Bachelorin Social work, political science, economic  or other related field;   
• At least 1 years experience in humanitarian aid; 
• Good knowledge of protection principle in humanitarian settings; 
• Good knowledge of vulnerability criteria;

Required qualifications 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times;

• Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible with working hours and able to handle pressure well; 
• Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel); 
• Fluency in Arabic and English.  
 
Desirable qualifications 
Ideally, you will also have: 
• Previous experience in international organizations and humanitarian settings; 
• Previous experience working with Syrian refugees in Lebanon; 
 
We offer 
DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract till the end of April 2017, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from the First of February 2017 and be willing and able to work in Akkar. 
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for Expatriates and Nationals; please refer to www.drc.ngo under Vacancies. This position will be placed at level B1, equivalent to 1,250$ per month.
